SCP: Odd Hours · Privacy Policy

Effective 25 September 2026 · Developer: LandeMill Games

The short version: SCP: Odd Hours collects no personal information from anyone, including children. It has no ads, no analytics, no accounts and no chat, and the Android app doesn't have permission to use the internet at all.

What the game stores

The game saves your progress (which levels you've finished, clues found, and settings such as sound on or off) on your own device, so you can carry on where you left off. The game itself never sends it anywhere. If your phone backs up its apps to your own Google account (Android's backup feature), that backup can include this save, like any app's data; we never see it. Uninstalling the game, or using "clear storage" in your phone's settings, deletes it from the device.

What the game collects or shares

Nothing. We don't collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information or device identifiers, including the advertising ID. The game contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and no links to social media.

Children's privacy

The game is made for children about 8 to 12 and their families. Because it collects no personal information, it doesn't ask for any, and there is nothing for a parent to review or delete. This is how we meet the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR and Google Play's Families Policy.

The app store

You download the game from Google Play (or, later, Apple's App Store). The store handles downloads, updates and any payment under its own privacy policy; we don't receive personal information from it.

Changes

If the game ever changes how it handles information, we'll update this page and its effective date before that version is released.
